Green Bus Lines operates service throughout the southern and central areas of Queens County, operating 15 local routes, 1 limited-stop route, and 5 express routes to Manhattan.

Many of the local routes begin in downtown Jamaica at the 165 Street Bus Terminal. These routes include Q6 Sutphin, Q8 101 Avenue, Q9 Lincoln, Q9A Linden, and Q41 127 Street. Other routes serving downtown Jamaica are Q40 142 Street and Q60 Queens Boulevard.

Several other routes provide service throughout the Rockaways peninsula. These bus routes are Q21 Cross Bay, Q22 Rockaway Beach, Q22A Mott, and Q35 Marine Park.

Green Bus Lines also operates frequent service southbound from Queens Boulevard along Q10 Lefferts, Q11 Woodhaven, and Q37 111 Street, while a convenient crosstown route operates along Q7 Rockaway. A morning rushhour limited-stop service is provided on route Q10A JFK Limited from the Union Turnpike subway station in Kew Gardens to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Express service to midtown Manhattan is provided on routes QM15 Lindenwood Express, QM16 Rockaway Park Express, QM17 Far Rockaway Express, QM18 Lefferts Express, and QM23 Brooklyn Manor Express, including many intermediate points along Woodhaven Boulevard and Lefferts Boulevard. Service operates along Sixth Avenue between 34 Street and 57 Street (except route QM23 Brooklyn Manor Express, which operates along 34 Street).

When travelling to John F. Kennedy International Airport, think of Green Bus Lines as your first transportation choice. The Q10 Lefferts route provides fast and frequent service to the Central Terminal Area, and stops at virtually every airline passenger terminal. Connections to the Q10 Lefferts are available from MTA Long Island Rail Road at the Kew Gardens station, and from MTA New York City Transit subway stations at the Union Turnpike station (E and F trains), 121 Street station (J and Z trains), and Lefferts Boulevard station (A train). Employees and visitors travelling to the airport cargo areas may use the Q6 Sutphin route or the Q7 Rockaway route
